What is the Cardiac Medical Ward?
The Cardiac Medical Ward is a 32 bedded mixed ward that deals with several cardiac conditions. Patients are admitted to this ward mainly from the Accident & Emergency Department, from other wards and also from the Catheterisation Lab. There may be occasions where patients are directly admitted to this ward; this occurs through the Bed Management Unit.

Who will look after me?
A team of nurses managed by Mr. Joseph Caruana, Nursing Officer, who is assisted by his deputy Ms. Jeanette Calleja will care for the patient whilst in the ward.

All Medical and Cardiology Consultants may have patients in this ward, and the appointed medical team review the patient every day.
