Chaplaincy

The Chaplain at the Rehabilitation Hospital Karin Grech is Rev. Fr. Alex Bezzina. The Chaplain can assist you with:

What if I belong to a different religious tradition?
Chaplains keep close links with communities of other denominations (such as the Muslim Imam, Protestant Pastors and Jewish Rabbis).

Roman Catholic Chapel
The Chapel with the Blessed Sacrament is situated on Level 3.
It is used by many patients and their family members during the day, for prayer and recollection.

Masses
The rosary is recited at 15:25pm followed by Holy Mass at 15:45pm every
  • Mondays in RW6 
  • Tuesdays in RW8/RW9
  • Wednesdays in RW1
  • Thursdays in RW3/RW5
  • Fridays in RW7
  • Saturdays in RW2

and the Sunday Holy Mass is celebrated in RW4 at 10:30am.

Distribution of Holy Communion
Holy Communion is administered on a daily basis to all in-patients who want and are able to receive it. As regards to the Day Hospital and Medical Outpatients, the Holy Communion is distributed every morning to day patients present that wish to receive the sacrament.
