Public Transport
Malta Public Transport operates a number of buses connecting various localities to Mater Dei Hospital. There are three bus stops on the hospital's premises. One s outside the main entrance, one near the administration block (Block A) and one between the hospital and the university.
For a list of routes and schedules, kindly consult Malta Public Transport website.
Own Transport
Patients and visitors should use the hospital's underground car park (right turn), which provides several parking spaces. This car park provides internal access, by lift or stairs, to the south corridor (i.e. near Out-Patients Department).
Additional surface parking is also located at the back of the hospital (the University side), but this is restricted to day care patients. Refer to Mater Dei Hospital layout for details.
There are several parking spaces for the disabled in the underground car park, as well as the surface car park in front of the Out-Patients Department, Emergency Department and Day Care Unit.
A disabled driver sticker must be displayed against the windscreen to park in these spaces.
An external management company manages car parking on site.
