Patients can attend alone, or with a care-giver if needed.  Patients under the age of 16 need to attend with a parent or guardian.

Out-patient services include orthopaedic and sports injuries, breast care, incontinence and obstetric physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, hand injury therapy, pain management, back care, rheumatology, amputee rehab, pulmonary and respiratory rehabilitation, paediatric physiotherapy, physiotherapy for staff members.

The department also hosts monthly orthotic and prosthetic clinics, where visiting clinicians from St. Luke’s Hospital assess and treat patients that would otherwise travel to Malta for these services.

The department works in close collaboration with Sannat Special Unit and Santa Martha Adult training Centre, with physiotherapists offering their services on a regular basis.
