Testing Positive

If you have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2,the virus which causes COVID-19, you need to observe a mandatory period of isolation at home to avoid spreading the virus to others.
You will be receiving an SMS and email with the positive result and notification of quarantine for the positive person. This is the legal isolation mandate and constitutes a confirmation for your mandatory isolation. No additional mandatory isolation letters will be issued.
If you have tested positive and have not received your result by email, please send an email to covid19.results@gov.mt

COVID positive persons are requested to complete a COVID Case Data Form (link below) and email it back to Public Health.

The form can be opened by a spreadsheet program. After completing the form, save it in spreadsheet format (xlsx) with a new filename in the format 'covid19case_name_surname_ID.xlsx'   (e.g. covid19case_Joe_Borg_0123456M.xlsx). Then email it as an attachment to covid19.positivecase@gov.mt.

If you are under 18, please ask a responsible adult to complete and send the form in your name.
