Data is collected from various sources, including medical doctors, laboratories and through our surveillance systems in order to provide more information on prevailing issues in infectious diseases. The unit is also responsible for managing outbreaks of infectious diseases as well as to provide data on infectious diseases to the local and international scientific community.
