The
General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Data Protection
Act (Cap 586) regulate
the processing of personal data whether held electronically or in manual form.
The People Management Division is set to fully comply with the Data Protection
Principles as set out in such data protection legislation. One may wish to refer to our Data Protection Retention Policy for further details about data retention.
One may need to use the Subject Access Request Form to access any personal information kept about them by the People Management Division. The Subject Access Request Policy should be adhered to when doing this. For the rectification or deletion of data, one may use the Subject Rectification or Deletion Form.

National Health Workforce Strategy 2022-2030
The People Management Division within the Ministry for
Health on Wednesday 26th October, 2022 launched the Health Workforce
Strategy for 2022 - 2030 for the Ministry for Health.
This Strategy sets out the overarching priorities and plans
for building the future health workforce for the Maltese Public Health Service.
It offers a strategic pathway through twenty-three (23) actions that have to be
taken in the coming years so that the People Management Division together with
stakeholders build the systems necessary to support, strengthen, and enable our
workforce to deliver sustainable, patient-centred healthcare into the future.
