Mistoqsijiet Frekwenti Skema Coeliac


L-Iskema l-ġdida tal-vouchers tal-pazjenti bil marda coeliac tnediet sabiex:

 

i. Tissostitwixxi s-sistema l-antika ta’ kif kienu jiġu mqassma l-prodotti “gluten free” miċ-Ċentru tas-Saħħa ġewwa Birkirkara.

ii. Il-pazjenti li jbatu minn din il-marda kronika jkollhom għażla aktar vasta ta’ prodotti/ditti minn ħwienet li qed jipparteċipaw f’din l-iskema.

iii. Iġġib is-servizz aktar qrib tal-pazjent peress li hemm numru kbir ta’ operaturi li qed jieħu sehem fl-Iskema madwar Malta u Għawdex.

iv. Jitnehha it tqassim ta’ kupuni mill- kunsilli lokali.


1.      Min jista’ jibbenefika minn din l-Iskema?

 

Dawk il-pazjenti li ghandhom il-kartuna s-safra jew kartuna r-roża taħt il-marda Coeliac. 

Kull min għandu l-kartuna s-safra jew kartuna r-roża taħt din il-kundizzjoni, huwa eliġibbli għall-vouchers. 

Pazjenti ġodda jridu jipprezentaw applikazzjoni ghal SCHV flimkien ma rizultati ta “duodenal biopsy” li tikkonferma dijanjosi ta’ coeliac 

JEW  Fil kaz ta’ pajzjenti pediatrici b’sintomi ta coeliac testijiet ohrajn li jmiss:

a. tTG antibodies ghaxar darbiet iktar mill- limitu

b. IgA-EMA test posittiv

c. HLA-DQ2 jew DQ8 typing.  

It-tlett testijiet iridu jigu ipprezentati ma’ l-applikazzjoni.


2. Liema huma l-operaturi li qed jipparteċipaw f’din l-iskema?

 

Il-vouchers jissarfu BISS mill-ħwienet/spiżeriji li qegħdin f’din l-Iskema

 

i.      Il-ħwienet/spiżeriji li qed jippartecipaw f’din l-iskema jkollhom tabella fl-armatura li turi dan.

4. Kull meta jiġu maħruġa l-vouchers ta’  l-iskema Coeliac?

 

Il-vouchers jinħarġu DARBA kull tliet xhur u jintbagħtu bil-posta irreġistrata, b’hekk min hu eliġibbli jirċievi 4 settijiet ta’ vouchers biss fis-sena. Kull sett jinkludi il-kupuni ta’ 3 xhur sussegwenti. Fuq il-kupuni ghandkom issibu miktub ix-xahar għal meta japplikaw u għalhekk huma validi għal dak ix-xahar partikolari BISS.

Per eżempju: il-kupuni tax-xahar ta’ Mejju jkunu jistgħu jintefqu fix-xahar ta' Mejju BISS.

 

Il-posta tintbagħat f':

1.      Dicembru bil-kupuni għal perjodu ta' Jannar, Frar u Marzu sussegwenti

2.      Marzu bil-kupuni għal perjodu ta' April, Mejju u Ġunju sussegwenti

3.      Ġunju bil-kupuni għal perjodu ta' Lulju, Awwissu u Settembru sussegwenti

4.      Settembru bil-kupuni għal perjodu ta' Ottubru, Novembru u Diċembru sussegwenti

 

5.      Kif jitqassmu l-vouchers?

 

Il-vouchers jintbagħtu bil-posta irreġistrata darba kull tliet xhur, b’hekk neliminaw il-bżonn li tmorru il-Kunsill Lokali biex tiġbruhom kull xahar. Normalment dawn jintbagħtu fuq l-indirizz tad dar, pero qed noffru l-għażla biex f’każi fejn ħadd ma jkun id-dar fil-ħinijiet li titqassam il-posta, aħna nimpustaw il-kupuni f’indirizz alternattiv, sew post tax-xogħol jew indirizz ieħor tal-għażla tieghek.

 

Madankollu, ngħarrfuk li aħna nżommu rekord ta’ indirizz WIEĦED biss, għalhekk jekk trid tibbenefika milli tirċievi il-kupuni f’indirizz li m’huwiex l-istess wieħed li għandek fuq l-ID Card, ikun hemm bżonn tikkuntattjana.


MaltaPost tagħmel żewġ (2) tentattivi biex tqassam il-kupuni, u f’każ li xorta jibqgħu ma jinġabrux, dawn ikunu jridu jinġabru mill-fergħa tal-MaltaPost rispettiva sa 14-il ġurnata wara l-ewwel tentattiv, u jkollkom bżonn tieħdu magħkom il-karta tal-identita’ tal-persuna li qed tirċievihom.

 

6.      X’jiġri jekk il-pazjenti jitilfu l-vouchers?

 

MA JINĦARĠUX kupuni oħra ġodda lil min jitlifhom.

 

7.      X’iridu jagħmlu l-pazjenti meta jbiddlu l-indirizz?

 

F’każ ta’ bdil fl-indirizz, il-pazjenti huma mitluba li javżaw lil POYC mill-aktar fis possibli billi jew:

i.      jibgħatu email fuq info.poyc@gov.mt u jehmżu kopja tal-karta tal-identita’ bl-indirizz il-ġdid;

ii.     jikkuntatjaw lil POYC Client Support fuq in-numru 22481800;

iii.    jibgħatu ittra formali lil POYC f’dan l-indirizz:

Frequently asked Questions Coeliac Scheme:

 

The new voucher scheme for Coeliac patients was set up in order to:


i. Substitute the previous method of distribution of gluten free products from B’kara health centre.

ii. Widen the choice of products from the outlets participating in the scheme.

iii. Improve accessibility to the service by including a widespread number of outlets across Malta and Gozo.

iv. Eliminate the need to collect vouchers from the local councils.


1. Who can benefit from this scheme?

 

Patients entitled to a gluten free diet by means of a SCHV document issued for Coeliac disease.

Patients having a pink card issued by the Social Security services.

Newly diagnosed patients should bring an application for SCHV together with duodenal biopsy results which confirm diagnosis of coeliac disease OR in the case of newly diagnosed paediatric symptomatic patients with the following tests confirming coeliac disease diagnosis:  

a. tTG antibodies elevated greater than 10 times upper limit of normal for assay

b. positive IgA-EMA test

c. HLA-DQ2 or DQ8 typing. 

All 3 test results should be attached to the request in order to be processed.


2. Which outlets are participating in this scheme?

Vouchers can only be redeemed in shops participating in the coeliac scheme.

 

i.      Most leading retail outlets have a sign that they are part of the POYC Coeliac scheme.

3. Which products can I buy with the vouchers?

4. How often are the vouchers issued?

 

The monthly vouchers are issued once every 3 months as a set of 3. This amounts to 4 sets of vouchers per year. These are sent by registered mail. Vouchers are valid only for that particular month for example May vouchers can be used only in May. There’s no need to collect them from the Local Councils any more. 


Vouchers are mailed in advance as follows:

1.      In December: Vouchers  covering January, February and March are mailed.

2.      In March: Vouchers  covering April, May and Juneare mailed.

3.      In June: Vouchers  covering July, August September are mailed.

4.      In September: Vouchers  covering October, November and December are mailed.

If you do not wish to receive the vouchers on your ID card address, inform our offices about your preferred mailing address. 

MaltaPost makes two attempts to deliver the registered mail and if no one is there to collect the vouchers they must be collected from the nearest post office up until 14 days after the first attempt. Please take with you, the ID card of the patient. 


5.      What happens if the vouchers are lost?

 

Lost vouchers are not replaced.

 

6.      What should I do if I change my address?


Inform POYC as soon as possible in one of the following ways:

ii.     Call Client Support 22481800;

iii.    Send a letter to the following address:
